Exchanges


If you're not entirely satisfied or have ordered the wrong color, we're happy to offer an exchange for another item of equal value or store credit. We understand that picking the right color might be a bit difficult when choosing from a computer screen.

To request an exchange:

  • Exchanges must be requested within 14 days of the original purchase.
  • Items marked "Discontinued" are final sale and not eligible for exchange or return.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Due to hygienic reasons, we only exchange items that have not been opened, worn, or tampered with.
  • Rooted hair extensions must be in their original packaging with the ties at the top intact.
  • Any product that has been used or is not in its original condition cannot be restocked and is not eligible for exchange.

Important Note: If we receive an exchange that does not meet these criteria, it will be considered ineligible for an exchange. Rooted Hair is not responsible for any lost products shipped to our company.

Thank you for choosing Rooted extensions! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review our return policy below.

Return Policy Overview:

  1. Eligibility:
    • Returns must be made within 14 days of the original purchase date.
    • Hair extensions must be in their original packaging, with the ties at the top intact, and must not have been used or altered in any way.
    • Items marked as "Discontinued" or sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  2. Requesting a Return:
    • Please email us at Info@rootedhair.ca with your order number and the date of purchase.
    • Include a brief description of the reason for the return.
  3. Preparing Your Return:
    • Ensure the hair extensions are in their original, undamaged packaging.
    • Use the original box from your order to protect the hair and its packaging during shipping.
  4. Shipping Your Return:
    • Print and attach a return label in the appropriate place on the package.
    • Canadian returns:  (22 Shawnee blvd, Calgary, AB T2Y0P9 CA) 
    • US returns: 1207 NW 23rd Ave Portland Oregon, 97210
    • Drop off the package at your local USPS office.
  5. Processing Your Return:
    • Once we receive your return, we will inspect the product to ensure it meets our return criteria.
    • If the return is approved, we will either issue you a store credit in the form of an e-gift card for the amount paid, minus taxes and shipping charges or return the amount onto your credit card. Please allow 3-5 business days for the amount to appear on your credit card.

Important Notice:

  • We cannot restock hair extensions that are not in their original packaging or have been used. If we receive a return that does not meet these criterias, it will be sent back to you at your expense.
